Description
The Automotive Business Analyst t works and collaborates with key stakeholders in Operations, Strategy and Partner Club groups. They are responsible for identifying, evaluating, supporting and championing efforts that are consistent with company strategy. Primary focus is on distinguishing the ERS experience and controlling expenses.
Activities may address large scale complex problems. They may be required to assist with the management of some projects and/or leading initiatives.
They will serve as an individual contributor, in a consultative role, reporting to Automotive leadership. They may also have responsibility for providing input for performance development, and promotion.
Essential Functions / Principal Responsibilities
* Assess the Automotive Services Delivery chain and recommends/implements change to drive an improved member experience and/or an efficiency gain.
* Analyzes root cause of problems and gathers relevant data.
* Studies Financial, employee, resource and member Impact.
* Prepares and delivers recommendations in writing and via formal presentation.
* Able to implement and execute on recommended tasks (In some cases, by managing the effort).
* Works with various constituencies including NCNU Club leaders, ACP Partner Club leaders, AAA National, AAA MSC leaders, and Strategy groups.
* Partners with key stakeholders to prioritize a portfolio of projects which will deliver on strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Extensive experience in the Automotive, or a related service delivery field.
* Extensive understanding of data elements used to measure, and drive, performance.
* Proficient at scoping, chartering and leading all phases of a work effort.
* Ability to build a strong relationship with all key stakeholders, fostering collaborative interaction.
* Capable of utilizing standard business analysis and documentation tools, as well as techniques commonly in use within the automotive service delivery arena.
* Self directed, takes initiative and needs minimal supervision.
* Capable of planning, design, redesign, and implementation of new operational policies and/or procedures.
* Strong analytical, planning, problem solving, and design skills.
* Ability to recommend pragmatic and realistic solutions.
* Ability to communicate at any level of the organization.
Education, Work Experience, Licenses & Certification
Required: Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years in either a consultative or leadership role in the automotive, or related, industry.
Recommended: Knowledge of the AAA business and the ACP holding structure model is a plus.
