Position Summary:
- Read, decipher and analyze Contracts
- Confer with various Departments
- Prepare Contract Modifications Requested Form to submit to customer or to include with bid package
- Log pertinent information into Contract Database
- Check Contract Memorandums prepared by Rates Department for accuracy
- Coordinate Customer Specific Negotiated Increase process
- Maintain Contract Database
- Prepare Pending Contract Report for Sales force at the end of each month as well as any other reports as needed.
- At the request of Sales or Management, contact customers to resolve issues or discuss any needs the account may have
- Process and roll out facility list updates
- Provide Internal Contract resolution
- Respond to questions in regards to rates, charges, Pro s or contractual issues from the Rates Dept., Claims, Pyle - Transport, Sales Force and customers in a timely manner
- Maintain the Contract files in a neat and orderly manner
- Assist Pricing Analyst and Managers in department activities as needed, such as scanning, travel update responses, correspondence letters
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent; advanced business courses desired
- Sales, transportation and rate knowledge
- Strong attention to detail, follow through, and effective listening skills
- Basic computer skills, MS Word, Excel, Windows, Access, Adobe
- Ability to interface effectively with customers and co-workers
- Effective telephone technique in handling incoming calls / etiquette
- Good interpersonal skills; a self starter with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments with specific deadlines
- Highly motivated and flexible
