 Director for Hospital Medicine

 

CHI Franciscan Health is seeking a Director for Hospital Medicine.  This position is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating the administrative operations associated with the Hospital Medicine Service Line.  Hospital Medicine refers to the continuum of comprehensive medical care/services delivered to hospitalized patients.

 

The Director will provide authoritative guidance on the application of hospital medicine standards and best practices.  They will also serve as a local champion for change and a catalyst for shifting the culture of the organization and implementing the vision of an integrated health care delivery system.

Our Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Management Engineering or related discipline

 

Seven years of closely related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, including a minimum of three years of progressive management experience. 

Work experience using structured process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Kaizen, Six-Sigma, etc) is preferred.

 

Master’s degree in a healthcare/business administration or other discipline related to the requirements of the position is strongly preferred.
