3M Mobile Interactive Solutions Division (MISD) is currently seeking a Sales Representative for Government Business Development. This position is a leadership role responsible for aggressively developing sales growth for 3M Privacy, Protection and Projection products into the U.S. Government within the continental United States including military and civilian agencies, also state & local governments.

This position involves account growth development strategy planning as well as proactive field work developing sales opportunities for these products by actively prospecting and demonstrating product to Federal, State & Local government facilities within the continental U.S. with the majority of the effort happening in Washington, DC metro area.

Up to 50% travel and overnights. Territory is continental United States.

3M Mobile Interactive Solutions Division product line includes several high growth opportunity product categories including privacy filters for desktop and laptop computer displays, as well as tablets and smart phones; display protection film for smart phones and tablet computing devices; Pocket Projectors for projection of data in small group applications and traditional digital projectors used in conference rooms, briefing rooms and training centers. Qualifications

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

* Minimum of a Bachelor Degree is required
* Minimum three years successful experience in working with Government accounts with focus on IT area is required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Established business relationships in Government market is preferred
* Experience in selling to Government accounts in the Washington, D.C. metro area is preferred
* Excellent product demonstration abilities and proven sales skills are desired
* Military background a plus
