Position Summary:


The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for supervising and leading a team of hospice professionals providing day to day clinical care to terminally patients and their families. This individual is responsible for all medical management activities across the continuum of care as they relate to end of life palliative care. The Clinical Services Manager is accountable for the overall quality and efficient delivery of hospice services to all patients enrolled in the hospice program.

Additional responsibilities include:

Addresses business and operational challenges

Sets team direction and leads the team appropriately

Assists with coordination of patient admissions

Provides guidance to team members

Participates in and/or directs Quality Assurance activities.

Forecasts and plans around budgeted goals and metrics

Maintains patient care costs to within budgeted metrics

Follows state and federal regulations/requirements

Actively problem solves and handles escalated issues with staff, vendors, and/or referral sources

Skills / Requirements

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted RN licensure in MD

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; BSN preferred

2-3 years of Management experience in leading a team

Successful candidates will be highly organized and possess excellent communication skill

Knowledge of MS Office suite
