Position Description:

This position within Ingenix Advanced Analytics Lab is responsible for managing a staff of business and data analysts.


Team is responsible for performing a comprehensive review of all client data and identifying claim variances and/or trends due to processing errors, system limitations, coordination of benefits, contract interpretation, and provider billing errors and/or other claim adjudication irregularities.

• Daily responsibilities include managing team production and meeting departmental turnaround times, ensuring the accurate, timely completion of algorithms.


• Additional responsibilities involve maintaining and developing employees, working with Analytics director on staffing needs, strategic trend identification, monitoring claim inventory, issue resolution and technical solutions related to data, data flow and algorithm development.


• Manager must be able to process English business requirements into SQL and in turn move overpayment inventory from an ad hoc environment to a production model.


• Monitor and maintain a profitable, diverse production inventory for business partners.

Skills / Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or HS diploma/GED with 5+ years in a similar role


• 3+ years Managed Care and/or Claims experience


• 3+ years experience managing staff

Assets:

• Medicare and/or Medicaid experience


• Coding experience


• Coding certification


• Knowledge of SQL Programming


• Experience working in a production environment


• Financial Analysis experience


• Auditing experience
