Lead development and QA for an enterprise wide application. Responsible for managing a team of 9 developers and 8 QA resources. Lead development and delivery for an enterprise wide application for Clinical services delivery. Accountable for daily management of tasks and activities Work with business partners to identify business goals and translate them into IT implementation plans/strategies. Perform technical feasibility analysis for the business goals/requirements. Identify gaps in current application architecture and come up with detailed architecture plans to deliver the same. Responsible for identifying and implementing process/application architecture and standards to ensure we are meeting the Service Level Agreements. Responsible for application design/coding standards, release management, work queue management and service management. Project planning and resource allocation across all the applications in the portfolio. Lead the development and QA team (onsite and offshore) across all the phases of the application delivery cycle. Work with other Enterprise technology teams/vendor teams on an ongoing basis as part of the project implementation effort. Provide input to Senior Leadership team (IT and business) around my application portfolio on both technology and business goal fronts. Work in the following environments: Java 1.5, Oracle 9.i, Maven, XML, Subversion, UML, AutoSys, Jboss 5.0, WebSphere 7.0, Unix, Web Services, RAD, Web Application Architecture, Quality center, Agile based development.

Skills / Requirements

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
2 years of related experience.
Must have demonstrated experience with (1) leading and managing a team of developers and QA resources (onsite and offshore); (2) Java 1.5, Oracle 9.i, Maven, XML, Subversion, UML, AutoSys, Jboss 5.0, WebSphere 7.0, Unix, Web Services; RAD; and (3) Web Application Architecture, Quality center, Agile based development.
