Description
AAA is currently seeking a
National Sales Manager
to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Walnut Creek, CA
The National Sales Manager collaborates with State Executives, Partner Club Management, Independent Agencies and Sales Agents to achieve goals in the areas of property/casualty, policies in force, written premium, loss ratio, profitability and customer satisfaction as well as other assigned targets. Defines sales techniques and training and education needs and works with all levels of management to create developmental and marketing plans for assigned territories.
This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the sales strategies, audits, and training strategies for all insurance product groups throughout multiple distribution channels nationwide. In addition, this position collaborates with State Managers and Product Managers to deliver unique sales solutions to the varying markets; establishes and manages sales strategies for product delivery through independent agencies, out-of-footprint district offices, Partner Club sales reps, direct distribution, and AAA Partner Club States.
Responsibilities include:

Establishes and manages field training programs for new product launches and continuing product education.
*
Accountable for developing relationships with Partner Club executives, Product Managers, and varying enterprise management.
*
Establishes and modifies requirements for prospective independent agency appointments. This responsibility could extend to new state entries as well as setting up new distribution channels in Partner Club states.
*
Establishes production and performance targets for independent agent channel.
*
Subject matter expert on competitor strategies and activity.
*
Manages Supervisor level marketing personnel as well as Sr. Marketing Reps. Manages Marketing Representative travel and expense compliance and records.
*
Establishes and implements field audit processes for application submissions.
*
Determines participation in industry events and trade shows.
Typically 75% or more of work time is on the road, traveling by plane or car to and/or between Agency/Club Sales offices. Approximately 20-30% of time is spent in a home office, utilizing a laptop.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* 10+ years experience in property casualty insurance and/or field marketing areas
* Strong decision-making, organizational, planning, problem solving, and analyses skills
* Strong computer skills

* Advanced degree
