Partner Operations Account Manager:

We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join the team.  This role is responsible for managing a network of partners and ensuring the effective execution of various scopes of works through those relationships.  This position will oversee the subcontractor relationships and collaborate across the organization to ensure the delivery of a superior customer experience.

In 2007, Sunrun co-Founders Ed Fenster and Lynn Jurich set out to make home solar mainstream. Upfront cost was a huge barrier to home solar adoption, so they invented the model now known as "solar service." Sunrun allows homeowners to pay for solar power, not the panels. This means Sunrun owns, maintains, and monitors the system while homeowners pay for the electricity it produces.  

Each business day, we install $2 million worth of solar and facilitate one solar installation every 10 minutes. Our network of more than 30 leading solar installers employs more than 3,000 people.

Here's What You'll Do As Part of the Team:
  • Build and manage account plans detailing objectives, strategy, and actions necessary to achieve Monthly/Quarterly/Annual targets.
  • Identify, develop, manage, and support sub-contractors within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Own contractual agreement and conduct negotiation of terms and conditions.
  • Plan and execute communications for training of sub-contractors to ensure the effective onboarding and ramp-up to production.
  • Be a point of escalation for external partners as well as internal teams to facilitate issue resolution.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the systems, tools, and processes utilized to support the program.
  • Coordinate with other departmental functions to implement subcontractor management strategy.
  • Partner with internal operations branches to deliver required partner capacity and utilization necessary to achieve business success.
  • Track & report on partner pipelines & proactively work to identify issues, determine root causes and work cross functionally to create resolutions.
  • Manage sub-contractor accountability & performance to key performance indicators.
  • Support ad hoc special projects as needed.

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful:
  • Four year college degree and 4+ years in contract management related role preferred
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower a team to achieve objectives with a strong team focus and approach
  • Must be self-directed and an independent thinker with acute awareness & ability to manage to deadlines
  • Highly organized and process oriented 
  • Highly proficient with desktop applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Gmail, Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels and departments of the organization
  • Possess a positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to understand key business concepts at a macro level  
  • Good analytical and structured problem solving skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn and adapt quickly to rapidly evolving business processes
  • Salesforce.com CRM and Oracle ERP experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization
