Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified professional individual to fill the role of Manufacturing Supervisor. The chosen candidate will ect and coordinate manufacturing personnel and activities concerned with production of company product by performing duties personally or through subordinate manufacturing leads.



Primary Responsibilities:

Conducts detailed department planning and participates in providing labor estimate information on new and repeat work activity.

Participates in establishing annual department operating expenses and monitors expenditures vs. budget.

Ensures jobs are carried out to or above customer expectations and quality standard.

Ensure staffing is properly trained to perform assigned work and the company safety standards.

Ensure all work activity is documented per company procedures, retained as required, and available for any current work activity.

Cross train employees to ensure continuity of operations and schedule achievement.

Determine logistic requirements to keep department operational with the varied product mix.

Work with the planning and scheduling department regarding long term schedules.

Continuously improve work methods and provide input to product improvement.

Trouble-shoot and resolve departmental matters.


Job Qualifications (Education/Skills/Experience):

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of two years of related skill and experience assigning jobs, training others and developing solutions to problems.

Ability to provide accurate direction to others and represent the management team within the company at a high level of professionalism.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write reports and correspondence accurately.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and/or employees.Related two or four year degree preferred

Experience with chemical handling and processing preferred
