TELECOMMUNICATIONS MANAGER - MEMORIAL REGIONAL/JOE DIMAGGIIO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

Accountable for the 24/7 day-to-day operations of the Memorial Regional and Joe DiMaggio Telecommunications Departments. Will assure the efficient management of the department and provide high quality service to all hospital staff, patients, visitors and the community at large. Manages departmental budget and staff of 30 Telecom Operators and Information Desk Clerks; provides ongoing training, manages performance and productivity standards. Maintains two pager systems, and departmental policies and procedures as needed.

Skills / Requirements

Qualifed candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years prior experience managing a 24/7 operation. The ability to troubleshoot computerized telephone and beeper systems required. Excellent written and verbal communication and conflict resolution skills and the abilitly to work effectively in stressful situations is essential.
