The Bus Detailer Supervisor is a working Supervisor role. This position oversees our fleet wash process, ensuring all vehicles are cleaned according to Company standards each day.

What you will do as a Bus Detail Crew Supervisor:

  • Manage and provide direct oversight of the Bus Detail Crew.
  • Ensure the Bus Detail Crew cleans and maintains all Company vehicles to the highest standards.
  • Efficiently schedules and assigns specific duties/work to Bus Detail Crew team members.
  • Coach, train, and develop Bus Detailer Crew.
  • Routinely inspect all cleaning equipment and maintain inventory.
  • Control/monitor the use of cleaning materials to avoid or minimize waste, misuse, or damage.
  • Coordinates with dispatch for cleaning needs/requirements of Company vehicles.
  • Monitors Company vehicles for damage; reports any/all damage to the Director of Maintenance.
  • Fill the role of a Bus Detailer.

What does it take to be a Bus Detail Crew Supervisor?

  • Min. 1 year of vehicle detail/wash experience or training, preferably Motor Coaches.
  • Ability to train and motivate Team Members.
  • Previous Supervisory Experience required.
  • Must have valid state driver license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, such as GED, preferred.
  • Satisfactory pre-employment and ongoing random drug tests results
  • Documentation of a clear criminal record
  • Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and co-workers
  • Must be able to work late evenings and weekends
  • Must be available for on call assignments

What are the physical demands of Bus Detail Crew Supervisors?

  • Have a “glass is half full” mentality, with a passion for serving others.
  • Be able to stand or walk long period of times, and lift, push, pull and carry tools, objects or equipment.
  • You must be able to move up and down stairs easily.
