  • Overview

    Atlantic Health System is seeking an SCCM Administrator for a Client Services Engineer Level II position with the Enterprise Desktop Management Team. The candidate will be part of a team tasked with the support of a large-scale desktop environment. Primary responsibilities will include the administration of Systems Center Configuration Manager and use of enterprise technologies to maintain and update Windows endpoint devices and essential software.

    This position is primarily based out of Morristown, NJ however travel between hospital facilities as well as On-Call will be required.

    Responsibilities

    Primary Job Responsibilities

    • Install, configure and maintain the Configuration Manager product and servers along with other desktop management solutions
    • Configure and manage desktop operating systems, web browsers and Office products to align with organizational and regulatory requirements
    • Deploy software with Configuration Manager while minimizing impact to patient care and workforce productivity
    • Prepare and deploy baseline and monthly security update patch packages
    • Prepare and maintain desktop and laptop images using Microsoft Operating System Deployment (OSD)
    • Prepare Configuration Manager reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
    • Prepare software packages for deployment using technologies such as AdminStudio, ThinApp, App-V and WinBatch
    • Utilize scripting for systems management and automation (PowerShell, C# .NET, Winbatch, VBscript, AutoIT, WiseScript, etc.)
    • Work with software vendors, application owners and customers to understand workflow requirements and optimize the end user experience
    • Maintain documentation for all processes and procedures related to Enterprise Management roles and responsibilities
    • Act as an escalation point in support of enterprise scale desktop issues or initiatives
    • Close all support requests tickets in a timely manner with a focus on customer satisfaction
    • Communicate effectively with customers, peers and supervisors
    • Work as part of a team in support of other Enterprise Desktop technologies including antivirus, virtual desktop infrastructure, single sign on, group policy, OS deployment, full disk encryption and removable media encryption solutions
    • Able to take on additional responsibilities as assigned or requested

    Qualifications

    Educational/Technical Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent work experience in the Information Technology field
    • Minimum 8 years Information Technology experience including desktop and enterprise systems support and SCCM administration
    • Experience with Configuration Manager administration
    • Must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Experience with optimization and configuration of current Windows desktop operating systems, web browsers and Microsoft Office Products
    • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must have excellent customer service skills
    • Relevant industry certifications desirable
    • Prior experience in healthcare is preferred
