Provides vision, problem anticipation and problem-solving ability to the organization. Familiar with a broad range of technology concepts, practices and procedures. Provides leadership, guidance, mentoring, career development, collaboration and coaching for Supervisors, direct reports and team members. Demonstrates a wide degree of creativity

Fosters a collaborative environment amongst team members and seeks to develop positive relationships with other IT departments. The Manager has budget/financial management responsibilities over their teams operating and capital budgets, which includes collaborating with department leadership on long-term budget planning.
The Manager has a highly developed technical skill set with an all-encompassing knowledge of data networks, voice and video communications services. Responsible for all aspects of the daily operations regarding Data Network, Voice and Video engineering teams. This includes but is not limited to all operational support, architecture, strategic direction, vendor management, license management and compliance associated with these technologies. Directs and supervises the activities of the Lead’s and engineers to ensure timely completion of all projects, maintenance and incident resolution.
Increases operation efficiencies through process improvement and the adoption of new uses of technology. Develops project plans for the implementation of new initiatives. Manages vendors and drives infrastructure partners to meet or exceed contracted SLA’s. Ensures all technology services are aligned with Centura enterprise architecture standards and strategies, and that they are aligned with Centura strategic business initiatives and goals. Manages staff on contract as needed by the business.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- 10+ years of experience within their area of technical responsibilities, in conjunction with project management, mostly within large enterprise environments
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role preferred, or performing supervisory role as a technical lead
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- ability to quickly comprehend problems, develop hypotheses, draw logical conclusions, develop solutions, and respond accordingly
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration is preferred. Experience in lieu of the degree will be considered.
- CCNA - Associate - Cisco Certified Network
- CCDA - Cisco Certified Design Associate
- CCNP - Cisco Certified Network
- CCDP - Cisco Certified Design
Physical Requirements - Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
