Reporting directly to the SR VP & Chief Transformation Officer, the VP Nursing Operations, in working collaboratively with the Group VP's of Nursing, will be operationally responsible for enterprise wide patient experience programs, care management, flex team, and nursing professional practice policy and clinical education coordination. Additionally, this role will have dotted line accountability over Quality/HRO iniatives and goals as well as nurse residency workforce planning. The Vice President spearheads critical system educational initiatives, supports and facilitates achievement of Centura nursing strategy. Important to this role is understanding the leadership expectations of this position and the entire leadership team throughout Centura Health. The VP Nursing Operations must have a personal and professional connection to the Mission of our Christian organization. This position must be a team player themselves and contribute toward a Team centered approach that lends itself to ensuring “team before self” as we lead our complex, highly matrixed organization into the differentiated leading role as THE system of choice. This position will invite others into their Mission and Community Health work in order to be fully Transparent with the activities of this position, allowing for celebration of success and learnings through opportunities for change. This position will be a change agent for the health system by being bold in our thoughts and actions that generate the need for Urgency as we forge ahead as the thought leader in our industry. Finally, the individual must demonstrate personal and professional Accountability to our community, associates, physicians, and sponsors for performance for nursing and its team.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- 5 years experience in nursing or hospital management role
- 10 years progressive nursing experience
- Masters Degree in Nursing Required
- CURRENT Colorado RN License Required
- CENO or NE-BC (Nurse Executive Certificaiton or Eligible) Required
