Job Description
The 340B Product Development Director is responsible for leading a team of individuals that own the development of new and management of ongoing 340B strategies. These strategies are critical in supporting our goal to provide best-in-class solutions for our customers.
The Director will lead the efforts to create solutions that balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while balancing perspectives that may be in direct conflict. This role will be responsible for working cross-functionally with many departments within CVS Health, including PBM and Specialty Pharmacy operations, Sales & Account Services (SAS), Finance, Legal and Enterprise Analytics, as well as with clients.
The successful candidate will possess financial/analytic acumen with proven ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and demonstrate the ability to leverage healthcare/PBM knowledge to create innovative solutions.

Primary responsibilities include:

*Responsible for all aspects of 340B program/product development including leading key internal stakeholders, and directing the design and development of new strategies, capabilities and offerings. Work with other parts of the CVS Health organization to ensure programs are meeting both client and CVS Health objectives.

*Drive the adoption of new solutions to evolve and improve the market and value positioning in alignment with CVS Health and/or client objectives.

*Develop strategy for integrating existing and new products and services into a unified offering for clients and partner with sales and account services, marketing and trade teams to develop client communication strategy.

*Partner with leadership to ensure emerging needs appropriately fit within the product portfolio and ensure any new work is prioritized against existing priorities.

Required Qualifications
*8 or more years of experience in a healthcare related field; in-depth understanding of marketplace dynamics to anticipate and address emerging market needs; managing client relationships and have the ability to creatively solve complex client problems with an appropriate mix of quantitative analytics, and market-based business judgment.
*8 or more years of experience in a product development, product management or similar role leveraging pharmacy benefit management tools
*5 or more years in a leadership role that includes strategic and solution-oriented capabilities, superb communication skills, including the ability to present to internal and external C suite leaders and effective writing skills which includes the ability to write succinct, clear, well-synthesized proposals.
*Ability to frame complex problems and develop solutions that address multiple interests with minimal guidance and direction - trusted team member with considerable autonomy to shape strategic direction of offerings.
*Advanced Impact and Influence skills - ability to influence and establish rapport with colleagues both senior and junior to him/her.
*Exemplary leadership and management skills.
*Ability to achieve established goals while navigating a complex and highly matrixed organization.
*Experience in client facing roles either independently or in support of the sales organization.
*Ability to understand pharmacy/utilization management data and results with an analytic mindset to identify trends and improvement points from that data

Preferred Qualifications
*Experience with C-suite presentations
*MBA or advanced degree

Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience may be considered.
