As the Senior Advisor of Actuarial Services, you will have wide latitude and authority in:

Developing and quoting Risk Products for the PBM
- Product design analysis; development of rating manuals and procedures.
- Prototyping tools internally prior to rolling out on a production basis.
- Assist and advise in the creation, review and implementation of contract offerings.
- Communication and education with external clients and consultants.

Developing and presenting Risk Reports to the Executive Committee
- Consulting and advising in risk proposal strategy and development.
- Support the presentation of underwriting analysis, pricing recommendations and risk assessment to senior management for approval.
- Participate in identifying and quantifying risk for the organization through development and reporting of experience monitoring and studies.

Performing full risk assessments on risk products the PBM offers.
- Advanced analytic research findings via working with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Clinical and Analytics and Outcomes Departments.

In this high impact, critical role, you will also provide internal actuarial consulting across multiple lines of business to stakeholders involved in risk products. This would include Underwriting, Product, Analytics Consulting Services, Finance, Legal, and others.

To be successful, you will utilize your strong consultative and analytical skills, as well as your superb problem solving, writing and communication skills. Advanced MS Office proficiency, knowledge of relational databases and warehouses, advanced SQL, OLAP and SAS skills will also be critical to your success.

Required Qualifications
- 3 years of professional actuarial work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Actuarial experience in the Health Care Industry including Actuarial Standards of Practice (ASOPs) preferred.
- Health Insurance pricing or underwriting experience strongly preferred.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, business or related field required.
- Accredited Actuary (Associate of the Society of Actuaries or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.). Willing to consider candidates with only the Associate Professionalism Course (APC) remaining towards Associateship.
