As the Pharmacy Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the supervision of functions that prepare and process medications. You will oversee the back end pharmacy operations workflow, monitor technician productivity and performance, and ensure that all run times are met.

Position schedule: Monday - Friday, second shift hours (afternoons/evenings). Weekends will be required.

You will:

* Implement pharmacy objectives as determined by the pharmacy supervisory team.
* You may count out, package, process medication returns and prepare for delivery according to prescription orders following Long Term Care Pharmacy policies, regulations and procedures.
* Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure they are using the proper procedure to complete all daily assignments.
* Work with Lead & Senior technicians to coordinate the daily production of assigned function
* Knowledgeable and trained on all back end processes and equipment in order to troubleshoot and assist in workflow if needed.
* Knowledgeable of department metrics and productivity levels. Provides regular and timely feedback to colleagues regarding their performance.
* Create and implement training plan for team. Collaborate with field training team as needed.
* Cascade communication from leadership to direct reports
* Responsible for the performance management, development, reward of their team.
* Interview and makes hiring decisions for staff additions and promotions
* Serve as a role model by demonstrating company values
* Communicate company initiatives, expectations, and policies.
* Responsible for the morale and recognition of their team.
* Assist managers in local district and enterprise initiatives
* Ensure and maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies.
* Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
* Must obtain Pharmacy Technician Registration (or have an application pending) in Illinois prior to starting work.
* Previous management experience required or military leadership experience as a Senior NCO or NCO

Preferred Qualifications
* Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, but not required.

* Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
* Bachelor's degree preferred
