Are you passionate about making a difference in the way CVS pharmacies operate? Are you interested in developing technology to make the jobs of pharmacists easier and more meaningful? The Advisor role on the Pharmacy Operations Process Innovation Verification team may be right for you.

This role will focus primarily on translating identified opportunities to improve financial outcomes, customer service, and efficiency into new programs, tools and processes that can be integrated into, or expand upon, the enterprise pharmacy business model.

The day-to-day experience of the role will vary - aligning key stakeholders and team leadership, conducting root cause analyses, developing hypotheses and executing analyses on complex issues related to retail pharmacy.

This position requires strong collaboration skills as it is necessary to work cross functionally and influence our regulatory teams, store teams, field leadership and internal business partners. This position will routinely interact with many of the following groups: Product Development, Finance, Loss Prevention, Compliance, Pharmacy Operations, IS, Regulatory, Legal, Quality & Safety, and Field Leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills. In addition, the individual must be able to independently interact with and influence a wide range of senior stakeholders and demonstrate a consistent track record of delivering results.

Specifically, the Advisor will be responsible for:
-Developing a deep understanding of business and applying knowledge to identify opportunities to address potential business challenges,
- Independently designing and conducting complex operational programs (e.g. process flows, optimization) by leveraging pharmacy knowledge to run program pilots and design system requirements.
-Presenting and articulating conclusions and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Engaging cross-functionally across the organization to drive results and resolve issues encountered by the team, including the ability to assess and course-correct as necessary.
- Preparing materials and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise.

This role is based in our Woonsocket, RI office.

Required Qualifications
* 2+ years experience in an Operations, Process Improvement, Pharmacy/Healthcare, and/or Consulting
* 2+ years of demonstrated increasing responsibility roles in corporate or retail operational/field environments

Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to support multiple responsibilities at one time
* Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skill
* Ability to handle complex, detailed tasks with a high degree of accuracy
* Ability to travel to test locations as needed
* Strong decision-making and analytical skills
* Ability to be flexible and change direction as needed

Education
* Bachelor's degree required.
