Job Description
As a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor - Non Retail for Coram Specialty Infusion Services, you are responsible for ensuring the clinical support staff completes assignments to meet internal and external needs. A Pharmacy Tech license is required for this position.

Responsibilities also include:
? Applies appropriate ethical, legal, confidentiality, and advocacy principles to the planning and delivery of patient care.
? Develops and recommends changes as necessary to ensure effective and efficient communication among infusion team.
? Oversees the implementation and evaluation of new and existing processes.
? Executes plans of action to achieve clinical department goals.
? Oversees the interactions of clinical support specialist by observing and obtaining feedback from patients and other team members.
? Responds to customer inquiries and resolves patient complaints. (Customer is internal and external). Communicates timely issues that require a nurse or pharmacist.
? Documents all communications in the patient clinical chart and obtains co-signatures from a nurse or pharmacist that relate to patient care.
? Retrieves on-call messages each morning and reviews on-call printout at the daily morning meeting.
? Functions as a clinical support specialist in accordance with all state regulations in the absence of staff to include any and all duties normally assigned to a clinical support specialist.
? Monitors team activities that support the pharmacy team processes.
? Supervises the activities of subordinate staff.

Required Qualifications
? Minimum three years of related experience with minimum one year of supervisory experience or proven record of progressive responsibilities or achievements.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Effective time management skills.
? Proficiency in computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous supervisory and experience in a customer service setting.
Education or experience equivalent to a four-year college degree preferred.

Education
Education or experience equivalent to an Associates Degree.
