Job Description
The Director, Category Manager role is truly a unique opportunity for an individual, who desires to engage in Core Merchandising processes while developing deep relationships with cross enterprise areas such as the PBM/Clients, Pharmacy, Operations, Finance, Marketing and Inventory.

As the Director, Category Manager, you will:

-Develop and set the strategy for specific business plans and programs 1,3,5 years out with full end to end responsibility of Sales, Contribution Margin and GMROII.

-Focus on analyzing the business, developing growth strategies for CVS OTC Health Solutions program, and supporting analytical needs for the cross functional team.

-Drive execution and implementation of OTC Health Services program; partnering with large cross-functional teams to ensure the initiative rolls out as planned with future growth potential

-Demonstrate strong leadership skills, notably the ability to gain credibility with team members, cross-functional partners and senior management. You will have the ability to identify and define business problems and issues and develop strategic, analytical and financial frameworks; in order to impact and influence teams and senior leaders.

Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience constructing complex models in order to meet business case requirements with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadline while utilizing the highest level of attention to detail

2+ years of experience with MS of excel , including ability to construct and manipulate pivot tables, financial models and at least 1 year of advanced experience with Excel functions.

Ability to lead and develop high performing teams.

Must be willing to travel at least 5-10%

Preferred Qualifications
Strong Communication (written and Oral) and Presentation skills

Experience analyzing business trends, creating business cases and providing actionable recommendations

Experience working with POS or syndicated data (eg IRI, Nielsen etc) in the retail or consumer products goods industries

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance

MBA is preferred
