In this role as Senior Manager of FP&A Long Term Care (LTC), you will assist in leading a team of [1] advisor and [1] analyst, and will report to the Director of Retail Pharmacy FP&A. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and monthly analysis for LTC Pharmacy Volume. In this job you will interact with many other teams such as Pharmacy Operations, Labor Planning, Senior Living and Post-Acute segment leadership, the Sales and Account Management teams, the Regional Finance Manager team, and Strategy and Analytics teams. In addition the Senior Manager will also work closely with the LTC Finance and Accounting functions to understand and communicate monthly performance to segment leadership.
We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of financial/corporate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Superior analytical and communication skills are equally important in this role, as you will be interacting with senior management on a regular basis. This is a highly visible role in providing senior management with the information they need to make critical business decisions. Experience in Healthcare providers, pharmacy operations, and long-term care is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in leading a team of analysts including overseeing the management and consolidation of complex financial models used to project short- and long-term sales, retention, and overall script volume performance
- Be a key cross-functional contributor to various finance and operations groups tracking pharmacy labor planning and strategic initiatives for which volume performance acts as a critical reporting input.
- Support team development by providing hands-on training and learning opportunities to a team of analysts
- Support the overall development of the annual budget, periodic forecast deliverables, and long-term planning goals.
- Work closely with business partners to help ensure financial forecasts are accurate and align with current trends and market conditions
- Assist in analyzing monthly operating performance compared to forecast/budget
- Help support the long-term financial planning process and assist with strategic initiatives as needed
- Provide analytical support for ad hoc analysis as requested by senior management

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of finance work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare/Pharmacy industry work experience

Prior management or supervisory experience

Microsoft Excel experience using functions such as PivotTables, VLookup, Filters, Macros, etc.

Microsoft Access and PowerPoint experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Education
Education:
Verifiable Bachelor's degree.
MBA preferred, not required.
