Job Description
The Application Development Advisor is responsible and accountable for the quality and cohesion of solution architecture components within PBM and Benefits Automation business, and its underlying Benefit Automation technology. A track record of innovation with the capability to overcome any hurdles encountered in a very timely manner is key. Will require strong RxClaim knowledge/data structure.

You will ensure alignment of IT solutions with the business goals and objectives of the supported unit. You will serve as a application architect providing industry leading technical direction and guidance to the development teams to ensure appropriate and cost effective application of CVS Health approved technologies. You will provide solutions and design complex functionality, define technical solutions, and documents within the mid-ranged environments. You will help define standards guidelines, and aligning solutions to the application architecture.

Required Qualifications
* 8 years of professional IT experience
* 5+ years of Java experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle
* Experience in Oracle and SQL is required.
* 5 years experience developing in mid-range environments
* 3 years’ experience leading IT Applications Development and requirements gathering
* 3 years’ experience leading the design and development of a new application from scratch
* 3 years familiarity with Business Rules Engines and Agile approach to development
* 3 years’ experience with multiple automation projects
* 3 years’ experience with providing complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, to audiences at various levels

Preferred Qualifications
-UNIX, Oracle
-Must be highly organized and detail-orientated, and have the ability to work closely with team members
-Strong verbal and communication skills
Working knowledge of IT application Systems, projects and services Strong familiarity with client implementations

Bachelors degree required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or closely related technical field is preferred
