CVS Health, a leading health care company in the United States, is seeking a Manager of Retail Communications. Reporting to the Senior Director of Retail Communications, the Manager will help execute a communications strategy for our highly visible CVS Pharmacy business, targeting internal and external audiences.

You will be a key member of the larger Enterprise Communications team and will collaborate with colleagues supporting other lines of business, as well as our centers of excellence. With direction, you also will work with agency personnel and colleagues in Operations, Marketing, Government Affairs, and Human Resources to complete assignments. This position is based in Woonsocket, RI.

Responsibilities include:

* Contribute to the development and execution of integrated external, internal and influencer plans to drive awareness of CVS Pharmacy programs with key stakeholders, including colleagues and consumers
* Help draft or update standby statements to be used to respond to routine media inquiries
* Respond promptly to routine media inquiries using approved standby statements and flag issues as they arise
* Draft and edit content for maximum impact and clarity
* Assist in the roll up and presentation of metrics for key initiatives and launches
* Contribute to the development of executive presentations for internal audiences
* Help contribute to and maintain team process documents and project plans, including a calendar of events.

The successful Manager of Retail Communications will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a high degree of professionalism and experience working with key stakeholders, including executives and the media. You will be accountable for meeting deadlines and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. You will need to have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities at any given time.

Required Qualifications
7+ years Communications experience which includes developing and executing communication plans, responding to media inquiries and writing press releases

Willingness to travel under 10% as needed to support business needs

Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of healthcare industry work experience

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business or a related field.
