The CVS Beauty Experience & Services team is looking for a passionate and talented individual to support its data-driven approach to creating, refining and scaling new store concepts; developing partnerships with suppliers, service providers, media companies and influencers; and transforming CVS’ in-store beauty service model into an industry-leader.

The Senior Manager will partner closely with the team’s Head of Analytics to ensure the team makes sound business decisions by:
* Developing logical mental models of businesses the team is evaluating
* Leading the creation and management of analytical tools (Excel, CMG, Tableau) that organize data intuitively and isolate significant business-driving variables
* Analyzing data and extracting actionable business insights
* Transforming insights into a compelling story (storyboarding, presentation building)
* Influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams

You will have experience and/or demonstrated potential to develop rapidly in the following areas:
* Technical analytical skills
o Building analyses & models using Excel
? Accurately reflecting the systematic interaction of inputs & outputs in the business being modeled
? Identifying and incorporating known inputs
? Researching and building a case to support unknown inputs (assumptions)
? Accurately assessing risks in model (sensitivity)
o Building intuitive reporting
? Creating visualizations that make data easy to consume and intuitive to draw insights from
* Experience or ability to learn Tableau is required
o Ensuring that reporting is tailored to the intended audience in a way that answers their questions and drives their go-forward decision making
* Problem Solving
o Identifying opportunities using a fact-based approach (research, analytics)
o Identifying solutions
? Researching and evaluating existing solutions (best practices)
? Developing new solutions using first principles
* Communication & Influence
o Listening
? Asking the right questions to understand the needs and desires of cross-functional partners
o Storytelling
? Building a narrative around a business recommendation
? Building compelling slides, including visualizations
o Tailoring the message to a variety of different audiences

Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in consulting or related business strategy/analytics experience
* 3+ years of building and managing business cases, financial models and executive-level presentations

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience negotiating with 3rd party business partners
* Deep knowledge of the Beauty industry (brands, products, trends, influencers)
* SQL
* Tableau

Education
Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred.
