This role will focus on helping CVS Health identify and implement a portfolio of strategies to realize the near-term and long-term value of the Aetna acquisition to lower medical costs for patients while improving their healthcare outcomes. In this role, you will work with a high-energy team that is motivated by the opportunity to drive better health outcomes for our patients and realize financial results for CVS Health. Our team’s goal is to identify, develop and operationalize synergies between Aetna and the company’s ~10,000 pharmacies, ~1,000 Minute Clinic locations as well as other enterprise assets (e.g., CVS Caremark, Specialty, Coram). Your Typical Day Here Could Include:

* Leading the diagnosis, solution development, and planning of a portfolio of new strategic products or services that incorporate all of the company’s assets and delivery methods
* Developing a "story" and accompanying deck that concisely summarizes findings across several initiatives and creates specific recommendations for the executive management team
* Scoping, planning, and performing a quantitative analysis that will yield critical answers to the questions at hand - or providing feedback to a junior team member on the analysis she’s working through
* Morphing between the role of "player" or "coach" depending on team needs. The "player" role could range from conducting ad hoc data pulls via CVS databases to creating one-off slides for leadership updates, while "coaching" could include overseeing work done by other team members and helping drive their professional development
* Reaching out to a pharmacy supervisor to set up a pilot test for a new idea in a set of stores
* Being accountable for the overall implementation and results of an in-store or call center pilot, including splitting key activities amongst team members
* Brainstorming with your colleagues to build out a creative approach for a new problem
* Building relationships with partners across the organization including Aetna, Retail Pharmacy, MinuteClinic, and other business units to build out a new program and drive results
* Meeting with internal or external subject-matter experts to learn more about the implications of a new regulation or new research findings
* Coordinating with IT stakeholders to create software requirements and ensure that successful pilots can become scaled solutions across our 10,000 stores
* Setting up time to meet with colleagues to plan a team development activity or social event

Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in a role that involves strategic problem solving and/or new product development (e.g., consulting, product management or development)

Preferred Qualifications
*Knowledge and experience working in healthcare space
*Ability and willingness to learn SQL, Tableau or Access to conduct analytics in times of need
*Proven capability conducting and managing quantitative portfolio and growth analysis
* The ability to communicate effectively and build partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, both verbally and on paper, and with all levels of an organization
*A highly developed ability to manage, develop, and mentor more junior team members to successfully evaluate complex business opportunities
