As the Pharmacy Vendor Management Advisor, you will oversee CVS’ retail automation portfolio consisting of 3 primary automation vendors, over $100M in assets and expense/capital lines in excess of $10M annually. You will be the primary lead on all retail automation activities including improvements to chain level performance, mitigation of service issues and operational defects, and management of new innovation and system rollouts. You will operate in a matrix environment; oversee the workload and performance of 3-4 center of excellence team members who manage field facing processes associated with automation. Your immediate responsibilities will include identification and implementation of $5M+ of annualized process improvements and the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.

Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience and a proven track record of effectively manage strategic relationships with large vendors (ideally a minimum of $1-5M annualized spend); maintaining a diverse and innovative portfolio

2+ years of program management and/or consulting experience

Preferred Qualifications
Ability to effectively communicate complex messages across various levels (i.e. Senior leadership, field teams, partners) with proficient utilization of various communication tools including PowerPoint, email, and other communication tools

Reporting and analytical capabilities (excel proficiency required, proficiency with querying languages a plus) to assess current state performance and identify improvement opportunities. Formal process improvement training/certification a plus

Program management experience including managing day to day activities, mitigation of complex issues requiring multiple parties, and driving new programs

Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop contract terms with documented results of cost reduction and favorability

PMP or Lean/Six Sigma Certification

Bachelor degree required; MBA/Master's degree preferred.
