CVS Health has an outstanding opportunity for a Specialty Pharmacy Operations Manager. This role will be based out of Mt Prospect.

In this role you will be responsible for the management of the administrative, financial, and operational aspects of the Specialty Pharmacy. You will direct and manage client services and pharmacy business functions with respect to clinical and customer services and pharmacy operations with accountability for service performance, customer satisfaction and financial performance. You will collaborate with other functional areas to support sales, operational and financial objectives of the specialty pharmacy services group as it relates to day-to-day pharmacy operations. You'll provide effective leadership and direction to all direct reports while managing and fostering a dynamic and progressive work environment characterized by high integrity, commitment to excellence and respect. In addition you will effectively communicate and implement company procedures for following all applicable internal controls necessary to comply with federal regulations and company policy.

Responsibilities include:
*Effectively directs and manages specialty pharmacy services and operations for the pharmacy to meet or exceed pharmacy and company operations and financial objectives.
*Develops performance objectives in conjunction with company goals and mission statement; measures performance through competencies; evaluates and gives timely feedback to direct reports on their performance to the objectives to create a climate for personal growth and development.
*Responsible for financial management of cost-center expenses with budgeted objectives and attainment of revenue targets. Collaborates with finance to monitor and analyze financial performance of key areas of responsibilities, identify variances and trends, and implements cost management and expense controls where indicated to meet budgeted financial goals.
*Promotes pharmacy culture rooted in customer service and employee moral. Directs and conducts regular staff meetings with direct reports and their staff in order to maintain open and effective communication within the pharmacy.
*Assures compliance to all pharmacy licensing and regulatory requirements as well as coordinates branch efforts to effectively undergo accreditation.
*Cultivates, expands and maintains regular communication with key clients, referral sources and manufacturers to maintain existing and foster new business relationships in their respective community or market, monitor market trends to identify new and developing business opportunities.

Required Qualifications
*2 or more years Operations Management experience.
*Demonstrated knowledge of business areas and high ability to identify and resolve problems in complex work flow environments
*Excellent change leadership, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills training,
*Ability to multi task and work on several projects simultaneously
*Ability to function independently, possess flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with customers, internal managers, all personnel, and support organizations
*Ability to lead groups of people successfully towards goals.
*Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, follow up and resolution
*Experience with identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
*Ability to set, maintain and meet strict deadlines
*Ability to build credible relationships with management teams and business partners
*Proven ability to meet strict performance goals in a fast paced production environment.
*Proven history of team building and front line employee development.
*Ability to effectively present information to customers both internal and external.
*Ability to analyze, interpret and resolve performance issues.

Preferred Qualifications
*4 or more years of managerial experience.
*4 or more years work experience in a healthcare related field

Education
*Bachelors degree or equivalent experience may be considered.
