As the Senior Director of Modernization Analytics-Artificial Intelligence, you will recruit and lead a high performing team of data engineers, data scientists, and solution strategists for the CVS Enterprise Modernization initiative. You will translate advanced data science and optimization skills into specific strategies to improve operational process, reduce inefficiencies, and optimize customer service.

* Lead analytics across Enterprise Modernization work streams, including development of artificial intelligence use cases within operational and finance units across all CVS Health business units (CVS Pharmacy, Caremark, Aetna)
* Develop opportunity lists and sizing opportunities, lead strategy and execution across end-to-end data, analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
* Work with executive leaders in key operational areas across CVS Health, including finance, real estate, HR, operations to find opportunities to use data engineering, data science, and analytics to drive measurable business value
* Lead end-to-end analytic development teams using advanced data engineering, machine learning/AI, and scalable reporting to gain identified business value
* Recruit, develop, and train an industry leading team of data engineering and data science professionals

Required Qualifications
* 8+ years of strategic analytic leadership with significant experience developing cutting edge analytic projects to support complex health care and retail objectives with shown experience leading strategy and execution across end-to-end data, analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
* Confirmed experience leading teams and developing talent.

Preferred Qualifications
* Forward-thinking analytic leader who will advance programs to gain market leadership by informing and helping to shape data driven strategy implementation.
* Ability to lead through ambiguity and complexity to take calculated risks to solve problems, forge new paths for growth, and achieve challenging goals. Demonstrated resilience and resourcefulness when faced with challenges and obstacles.
* Confirmed strategic business leadership, identifying, quantifying, and pursuing new opportunities. This executive level candidate will have a high comfort with analytics and using them to make strategic business arguments.
* Strong leadership presence and communication skills: capable of influencing and driving collaboration at all levels within the organization.
* The ideal candidate will have high emotional intelligence and an outstanding ability to collaborate and partner with other business teams and executives. Will act as the key liaison for strategy and execution of analytic priorities for the Retail leadership team and key executives across the CVS and Aetna businesses

Education
Bachelor's Degree required, field of study: Statistics, Computer Science or other quantitative related discipline.
Master's Degree preferred or equivalent experience required
