Job Description
CVS Health is looking for a Senior Director of Transformation (Product) Marketing to support our new Head of Payor Product Management within our transformation business. This position is a client-facing role leading consultative work with the leaders of the emerging product businesses within CVS Health Transformation to define the target customers, segmentation, value proposition, packaging/naming and marketing strategies, and then lead the design and go-to-market for launches and for continuous evolution of our offerings. The focus will be on new Enterprise-level offerings to be sold agnostically to payor plans, including Aetna, but also others.

The Senior Director of Transformation (Product) Marketing will need to partner with senior leaders in the Transformation business unit, and with resources across the enterprise, including those in the Marketing groups of each of CVS Health’s lines of business. Additionally, s/he will need to partner with marketing centers of excellence, analytics, and salesforces in order to maximize the power of our enterprise capability to build, sell, and optimize these offerings. This position requires a seasoned individual who brings strategic thinking to the top of the product business unit leadership table, and experience leading complex, cross-functional teams. Given the nature and pace of our business, this leader must be able to lead and do. This role is ideal for a dynamic marketer with a proven track record of thinking big and pushing boundaries to deliver business results.
* Based in Wellesley, New York City, RI, or Hartford with Wellesley, MA preferred. Willingness to travel required.

Required Qualifications
* Partners with Product Management Leader in the initial conceptualization of new offerings and development of the strategic business plan, bringing insights on the customer, consumer, routes to market, and competitive differentiation
* Leads and develops an effective, client-aligned marketing team that articulates, packages, and helps deliver a compelling story to drive successful market awareness, lead generation, member/customer engagement, and where appropriate, acquisition and retention.
* Partners with our in-house agency and various sales organizations to define the value story and develop effective product collateral, presentations, customer case studies and digital content.
* Working with our marketing analytics team, develops convincing proof points that bring value to our members and differentiates us for our customers, employers and plan sponsors.
* Develops separate plans and initiatives to effectively market several products and sell through multiple channels, including through our core medical insurance business as well as through broader out-of-footprint channels.
* Coordinates the complex web of connections needed across the enterprise to bring these products to market and evolve them over time
* Lead and maintains effective relationships with peers across the enterprise to bring strategic value to our clients.
* Manages the financials of a gradually scaling functional team
* Fosters sharing of best practices across marketing, product and sales teams.

* Multi-tasking and juggling. Able to oversee several very different lines of business, jumping across many different topics, seeking synergies, but also acknowledging differences.
* Segmentation and Targeting - Partners with analytics to develop segmentation and targeting strategies based on insights and data to drive consumer behavior.
* Brand - Maintains brand integrity and ensures the member experience aligns to the brand strategy.
* B2B, B2B2C, and B2C Experience - Designs and maintains an omni-channel customer experience across all our segments. Develops relevant content based on the customers context in their journey.
* Digital - Skilled in all digital channels; deep appreciation and understanding of marketing technology and digital analytics
* Acquisition & Retention - Data and results-driven marketer; expert in best practices for B2B proof points; utilizing both digital and traditional direct channels.

Preferred Qualifications
* 15+ years of progressive, senior level experience in related industry marketing, health-care background preferred but not essential, with hands-on experience in launching portfolios of new products, and running multiple and diverse programs across channels, likely including senior agency roles as well as line responsibility.
* Promotes a culture of proactive teamwork and high energy
* Ability to lead strategic planning discussions and bring substantive presence into top senior discussions
* Critical thinking skills

Education
* The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a master’s degree.
