Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Colorado provides residential treatment services to children and adolescents with emotional and/or behavioral health disorders. The Quality Improvement Director is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for policy setting, data collection, analysis and implementation of initiatives to improve programs and services. Provides data to program leaders to help identify issues and develop solutions. Develops and manages the center Quality Improvement Plan, including oversight of committees and work groups, develops mechanisms to assure compliance with all rules, regulations, and guidelines of JCAHO, Medicaid, Colorado Human Services,, etc., actively promotes a culture of patient safety, proactive risk management, clinical excellence, and on-going regulatory readiness, leads quality improvement activities, including root cause analysis, design and implement evidenced based practices to address quality and patient care issues, forges partnerships with stakeholders to meet goals, engages professionally with all members of the center team, other stakeholders and organizations. This position coordinates on-site accreditation and licensing visits and ensures that appropriate preparation and follow up action is taken.

 

Qualifications

·         A Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field is required

·         Master’s degree is preferred

·         A minimum of 2 years experience in behavioral health operations or quality management

·         Experience with Joint Commission preferred

·         Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
