Job Profile


The Vice President of Operations is directly responsible for the coordination of designated departments for assigned pavilion.  The VP Operations is accountable for the development and execution of business strategies to support the strategic goals of Harris Health System and has responsibility for managing interfaces between pavilion and departments. 

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:  Masters degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field required.

Work Experience (Years and Area):  Ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare or health system setting

Management Experience (Years and Area):Minimum five (5) years of experience in senior management role required.

Communication Skills:  Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact); Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking); Writing /Composing: Correspondence / Reports

Other Skills:  Analytical; Mathematics;Research; Statistical; Typing; P.C.; MS Word; MS Excel

Work Schedule:   Holidays; Flexible

Other Requirements:  Six Sigma or Lean quality certification preferred (Black Belt or Master Black Belt)
