JOB SUMMARY

As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for the effective management and performance of all Human Resources related activities. This includes talent management, succession planning, learning and development and training (to many and), performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and health and safety initiatives. Specifically, a Director of Human Resources will perform the following tasks to the highest standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Hotels that are supported by the management company operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.

    - Oversee a portfolio of 53 Extended Stay properties and all Human Resource related responsibilities.
    - Manage and resolve any employee relation issues.
    - Lead and participate in succession management and workforce planning,
    - Creates value through proactive approaches that will affect performance outcome or control.
    - Leads the assessment of properties leadership pipeline through the human capital review process and assists with follow-ups.
    - Responsible for Human Resources strategy and execution.
    - Supervises the Orlando FL corporate office Human Resource Team.
    - Serves as resource for the properties employee relation questions and issues.
    - Monitors sourcing process and outcomes of staffing process.
    - Ensures Managers are competent in assessing and evaluating hourly staff.
    - Continually reinforce positive employee relations concepts.
    - Manage and resolve promptly, all employee relation issues.
    - Leveraging advanced knowledge and skills to succeed as a HR director.
    - Oversee the daily workflow of the Human Resource department.
    - Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
