Are you a curious person who enjoys researching new topics?

We are currently seeking a Director of Sales to join our team and oversee the sales for the Hilton Garden Inn Pismo Beach. Your daily activities will involve outside sales calls, obtaining new accounts, conducting site tours and networking with the local business community to drive sales for your hotel.

You will also be accountable for forecasting, creating promotion materials and constantly communicating with your General Manager.

You must have flexible scheduling availability to include mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Job Requirements:

* Previous experience as a DOS or Sales Manager in the hotel industry is a plus

* Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement.

* Excellent communication, computer and presentation skills.

* Must be an effective salesperson and able to drive revenue by executing a proactive Sales process.

* Experience using Hotel Sales Force Automation (Delphi, Goldmine, Sales Force One, etc.) a PLUS!

* Upscale extended stay brand hotel experience preferred.
