We have an outstanding opportunity for a Directors of Sales. Salary is dependent upon experience.
We are seeking leaders with a documented history of driving top line sales, building successful sales teams and opening new markets. Our sales leaders are not just administrators but are dynamic members of the booking team with a history of creating an employer of choice culture for our associates. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Director of Sales in a full service hotel with exposure to IHG brands being a positive. A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is preferred and candidates who have demonstrated stability in their employment history will receive additional consideration.
The Director of Sales is 100% responsible for top line revenues. This position is responsible for directing, coordinating, training and supervising the Sales Managers, Catering Manager(s) and the Sales Administrators in all sales-related activities, including direct sales efforts, follow up and proper sales administration. He/she is also responsible for growing existing accounts and generating new business to ensure that room revenues and catering revenues meet or exceed budget in order to maximize revenue and profits, and to improve the hotel's performance in the marketplace.
