Director of Spa Membership

Primarily responsible for coordinating and directing all member relation efforts of the Company's annual Spa & Beach Membership Program ensuring compliance with the Rules and Regulations outlined in the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort Rules and Regulations adopted by Hotel Lot Owner and Bankruptcy Sale Order. Works closely with VP of Spa & Wellness, Director of Spa, Director of Marketing Fitness Manager, and other key management personnel. Serves as an Ambassador of Carillon Miami Wellness Resort and is a liaison between members, and hotel. Will work with key management personnel in the development of policies, marketing initiatives, programs and events designed to attract and retain new members, directing and overseeing sales and marketing efforts to drive membership growth. Responsible for promotion of membership sales and the dissemination of hospitality, friendliness and goodwill among members and their guests. Ensures members and their guests enjoy the world-class facilities, services and programs provided by Carillon Miami Wellness Resort.
Essential Job Functions
-Develops an Annual Marketing Plan and implements strategies to meet membership goals.
-Participate & Partner with local events.
-Host monthly Membership Open House the first Sunday of each month.
-Host member events-Welcome Back Party, Health & Wellness Annual Event, Member Guest Event.
-Develops tools and reports to illustrate outcomes and areas of opportunity for increasing overall membership.
-Updates market data and makes recommendations to the Vice President of Spa & Wellness for changes to the membership proposition.
-Plans and oversees facility tours for prospective members.
-Oversees the development and implementation of prospective member functions.
-Responsible for the organization and production of membership kits for prospective membership initiatives
-Assesses the need for and makes recommendations regarding membership classifications to ensure our program meets the need of the constantly changing marketplace.
-Is present during peak business operating hours and at property events to assist in meeting and greeting residents, members, and potential members.
-Leverages and contributes to the social media strategy of the property/spa as related to attracting prospective members.
-Develops and adheres to departmental budget; after approval, monitors and takes corrective action as necessary to help assure the budget goals are met.
-Assists Marketing Director in developing marketing communication plans in order to increase business revenue.
-Establishes mutually beneficial relationships with organizations that may enhance our ability to attract members.
-Ability to achieve a balance between increasing membership and maintaining exclusivity and the established vetting procedures.
-Respectively responds to residents' and members' comments in accordance with Company policies. Uses comments and suggestions to improve member services.
-Oversees the administration of membership rules to ensure consistency in interpretation and application as related to new members. As needed, makes recommendation of additional rules, and follows appropriate protocol in establishing such.
-Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all membership information.
-Keeps abreast of trends in the fitness & wellness private club industries, terms of membership in our competitive set, and identifies opportunities to set trends and differentiate Carillon Miami's membership program.
-Solves staff concerns in a timely manner, referring situations to the Vice President of Spa & Wellness, only if needed.
-Ensures quality of performance of the overall department through assessment, observation and member survey information.
-Adheres to all corporate policies and standards.
-Prepare purchase orders relating to Membership Department supplies and equipment.
-Attends weekly Operational meetings.
-Oversees the ordering of all departmental supplies and inventory control for membership.
-Maintains documentation and administrative records associated with job duties.
-Assists members with special needs related to spa, health, salon and fitness with a sense of interest and overall concern for guest satisfaction.
-Adheres to all Carillon Miami Wellness Resort standards regarding guest service.
-Performs and assigns any other job-related duties to ensure total member satisfaction and the smooth operation of the Membership Department.
-Posts all charges monthly to each member accounts.
-Work closely with accounting and reconciling members individual accounts.
