Job Purpose: The Manager is responsible to search for and order the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Secure (3-5) vendors for each product at varying costs and qualities and obtain best terms with our manufacturers/suppliers.
2. Survey competitors' prices and products on a quarterly basis
3. Produce quick and accurate quotations to clients' inquiries
4. Manage the purchasing and inventory activities of the company
5. Estimate price and product availability, inventory usage, control & develop policies & procedures
6. Direct & coordinate the procurement goods, supplies & services essential to the supplies operations
7. Contribute in identifying trading & sales strategy for supplies products
8. Forecast procurement needs
9. Build and develop relationships with key manufacturers/suppliers
10. Negotiate prices, delivery terms with our manufacturers and suppliers
11. Prepare purchase requisitions
12. Approve and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies
13. Initiate and design department purchasing policies and procedures
14. Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely and cost-effective way
15. Other duties as assigned

Job Skills:
1. Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Office; Excel, Word, Outlook
2. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace

Job Qualifications:

Education: College degree preferred in related field or combination of equivalent experience/education

Experience: Minimum 3 years purchasing experience in hospitality renovation or new construction FF&E. Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities, Hotel purchasing experience
Licenses/Certifications: N/A

Location: Job can be remote based.
