Job Description


The Revenue Management Strategy Analyst reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing and will oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotels and manage day to day yield operations with property level teams. Work in conjunction with the COO & the VP of Sales & Marketing to develop pricing strategies and forecast revenues for the portfolio. The Revenue Manager will conduct frequent audits of room inventory, market mix, and pricing strategy; monitor all distribution channels to ensure effective selling; prepare reports and recommendations; implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practices with the property level teams.

Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following

    -Complete various required training per brand to become certified and fully competent in revenue management systems.
    -Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
    -Create and maintain a 13-month rolling demand & special event calendar.
    -Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting.
    -Review historical, future bookings, and competitor rates to establish BAR rates.
    -Review Length of Stay (LOS) patterns to maximize revenue according to demand.
    -Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.
    -Manage and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution.
    -Responsible for assessing, analyzing and pricing group business strategies with VP of Sales.
    -Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.
    -Identify new revenue opportunities.
    -Enhance a Sales driven culture by visiting the hotels to get first-hand knowledge of all revenue management issues and other key areas.
    -Conduct yield management meetings with individual properties.
    -Ensure hotel personnel is fully competent in the use of all reservation systems.
    -Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity
    -Support other leadership team members and/or managers when needed.

    -Enters, transcribes, records, stores, or maintains information in written or electronic form.
    -Works with other people to gather the information necessary to manage projects, achieve goals, and resolve problems.
    -Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
    -Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
