    Licenses and Certifications
    Non Clinical\CPA - Certified Public Accountant Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or three (3) years of experience in equivalent field in addition to experience listed above. Required

    Responsibilities

    Job Summary
    The Director of Tax and Treasury will be responsible for tax compliance, tax planning, tax accounting, and cash management activities across the organization, which could include debt management and issuance of new debt. Manages income tax provision processes and traditional treasury functions, including all banking relationships and internal operations relating to receipts and disbursement. Work closely with financial management within the organization, and with businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals. Adds value by thinking strategically, applying tax theory to actual issues and mentoring junior staff.

    Directs staff to gather, process, and summarize complex financial information to provide support to the organization's fiscal functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles related to the goals of the company. Maintain a collaborative spirit and foster strong relationships across the department and throughout the organization.

    Oversees staff and ensures adequate staffing levels, inclusive of hiring/onboarding, evaluating, managing performance, coaching and ensuring employee productivity, quality of work, and alignment of goals with our mission, vision, and values. Ensure compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of department budget.
    • Oversees and directs the evaluation of tax functions including income, sales and use tax, tax research and planning, tax accounting, appeals and controversy. Identifies, researches, and evaluates tax issues in federal and state tax processes. Plans and recommends tax strategies in a concise and cohesive manner to senior leadership. Manages relationships with external auditors, tax consultants and government agencies.
    • Manages all treasury operations including cash receipts and disbursements, wires and account funding; ensure adequate liquidity for working capital needs; manage intercompany cash flows, including intercompany loans, dividends, short term investments and capital injections.
    • In coordination with tax consultants, ensures completeness and accuracy of direct (i.e. federal, state, and local) and indirect (i.e. sales, use, property) tax returns under existing statues, regulations and administrative pronouncements.
    • Develops and manages global cash flow forecast and budget; oversee banking relationships; negotiate fees and implement bank technologies, products and services to improve cash-cycle and simplify company operations. Assists with management of investment portfolio.
    • Manages existing debt facilities, covenant forecasting and compliance reporting; develop and monitor treasury operational policies; provide financial statement disclosures and support audits as necessary.
    • Maintains a system of sustainable policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of internal control over tax accounting and treasury activities. Drives continuous process improvements.
