Republic is currently looking for an overnight Supervisor to work at our Tallahassee, FL location.

This position is responsible for ensuring that parking tickets are accurately calculated and that fees are correctly collected from the customer. This position is expected to communicate with customers in a friendly and inviting manner, answer any operational questions, give directions when asked, and maintain a proper flow of traffic through the exit booth.

The Supervisor will assist in the day-to-day management of a location ensuring that parking operations are handled within contractual guidelines of the specific location, adhering to company policies and procedures, fostering good client relations and promoting a professional image and approach to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position requires a pro-active person that is capable of carrying out assigned tasks to their completion.
  • Must be detailed and organized.
  • Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned location(s).
  • Assist with management duties as assigned.
  • Substitute for any position, if necessary.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the facility and thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the facility.
  • Capable of supervising others in the correct performance of their assignments.
  • Strong interest in doing things exactly and correctly according to procedures.
  • Able to Supervise others; ensuring all Policies and Procedures are being followed at all times.
  • Accurately accounts for every ticket processed and every vehicle exiting through their lane.
  • Maintains courteous and professional customer service.
  • Assists customers with all questions/concerns.
  • Ability to multi-task while paying great attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Work with a sense of urgency while minimizing mistakes.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
  • Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills and etc.
  • Complete other duties as needed.


  • The ability to stand, bend, lift, reach, move quickly and efficiently will be required.
  • Ability to multi-task while paying great attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Work with a sense of urgency while minimizing mistakes.
  • Be able to work effectively outside exposed to all weather conditions: wind, rain, cold, heat, etc.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, and walk on uneven pavement.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening, including a motor vehicle report and background check.
  • Dependable transportation to work location.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to successfully complete a basic math test.
  • Must possess a valid driver license.
  • The ability to drive a stick shift is a plus, but not required.
