Job Description
Lead the team that will investigate Product Rework and develop corrective action, identify trends, and develop metrics on the F16 production program. Ensure appropriate root cause is identified and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence. Assist with audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and AS9110. Interfaces with customers and program personnel on quality related issues. Coordinate and chair corrective action meetings, ensuring clear assigned responsibility, appropriate root cause is identified, and corrective action plans are developed and tasks are completed to prevent recurrence. Conduct sustainment assessments for closure.

Must be ability to obtain a security clearance.
Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications
- Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products
- Experience interpreting drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods / standard instructions.
- Demonstrated experience with audit techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to use root cause analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex.
- Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.
- Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Demonstrated Presentation skills
- Experience leading a project or team

Desired skills
The following are desired but not required:

Technical Engineering Degree
Experience in an Aircraft Production environment
Experience with F16 production / maintenance
Experience with Production Process Verification (PPV) / AS6500
SAP Application experience
Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment
Advanced AS9100 Interpretation and application experience
Experience working with Government customers.
Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Technical Writing.
Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration.
Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulations.
