Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Ops for the Americas, the Management Reporting Change Council (MRCC) and Production Issue Remediation lead will be responsible for the management of the MRCC and Production Issue Remediation process across Financial Management of the Americas (FMA)

Major Responsibilities:
  • Lead the ongoing intake and prioritization of management reporting (system and process) enhancement requests
  • Responsible for the budget management for MRCC initiatives
  • Lead the daily intake, triage and workflow management for Level 1 Production Issue remediation
  • Lead the execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives as assigned through MRCC
  • Develop, enhance and deliver actionable reporting for all MRCC and Level 1 Production Issue remediation on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Act in a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role for system and process enhancements for hierarchies, alt hierarchies, FTP, Branch Data Structure, Coverage 3.0 and other specialties
  • Participate in the Management Reporting Transformation Program (MRTP) for SME areas
  • Responsible for communication on MRCC initiatives to multiple forums including the weekly ISA forum, the Americas Call, the All Change Reporting updates, All Hands Calls and other forums, as assigned
  • Serve as a coach and mentor for others in FP&A (this position has no direct supervisory responsibilities)
  • Promote and develop a continuous improvement culture across the business
  • Establish and maintain proper documentation standards and governance requirements across FP&A
  • Coordinate maintenance of reporting templates and management of development and enhancement requests
  • Implement smooth, speedy and efficient workflow
  • Coordinate with Business Unit Risk Management (BURM), Internal Audit, and SOX teams as needed
  • 7+ years of experience as a finance or process improvement manager or comparable experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.); advanced degree or MBA is strongly preferred
  • Banking industry experience and strong knowledge of banking organization, products, operations and technology a plus
  • MBA, CPA, CFA and/or Six Sigma/LEAN certification a plus
  • Big 4 or top tier management consulting experience a plus
  • Experience with leading process improvement efforts to reduce cost, increase revenue, or reduce risk
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and financial skills (aptitude for financial data reporting)
  • Strong ability to develop and implement KPIs
  • Strong understanding of business line needs and objectives
  • Ability to develop effective interpersonal networks within the organization (experience with complex organizational structures)
  • Ability to communicate complex issues and ideas with absolute precision and clarity
  • Ability to partner and work with other leaders across the bank to achieve business objectives
  • Ability to make decisions independently
  • Ability to coach others in a matrix organization
  • Experience with OFSAA, Hyperion, Essbase, and MS Products
  • Strong work ethic, ability to make decisions, and work under tight deadlines
  • Must be a creative problem-solver and a creative problem anticipator who is able to anticipate complex issues and problems and takes proactive steps to prevent them from happening
