Integrated Services for the Americas(ISA) plays a major role in MUFG's transformation to become the world's most trusted financial group. Its 3,000 colleagues specialize in process engineering, software development, enterprise information security, technology operations, operational risk management, and project management. The goal is to deliver superior solutions to our stakeholders at the quality they define and to be, above all, trusted stewards of the bank's computing assets and processes.

On-the-Job Experience: Our 10-week Summer Analyst Program begins in June and is designed to provide rising seniors with hands-on experience and business exposure to the world of technology or operations in the finance and banking industry. While working with a mentor, you will be assigned projects designed to make material contributions to the success of the business at the same time broadening your technical skills.
Our goal is to provide you with a professionally rewarding learning experience. Throughout the summer, you will have an opportunity to meet with senior management and broaden your understanding of the bank and its technology and operations. The program also provides various social and networking events, and volunteering opportunities.
Training: In addition to in-depth training in your particular area, you will also have the opportunity to attend learning sessions led by experts in various disciplines in ISA and the bank throughout the 10 weeks.
Support & Guidance: Your assigned mentor/manager will provide goals and professional development guidance and conduct performance reviews as a commitment to our summer analysts. You will also have the opportunity to network with employees across different business groups and at all levels of the organization. In our open and inclusive environment, senior colleagues will know who you are and will see the work you do. At the end of the program, you will leave with a better understanding of the world of technology and operations.
Career Progression: At the end of the program, the opportunity exists to receive an offer for full time employment upon graduation.


Qualifications - Operations & Process Excellence:
Although each intern position will have specific requirements in alignment with the project, minimum requirements for the program include:
  • Must be a first year graduate student or rising senior enrolled in an undergraduate college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Business, Management Information Systems, Engineering degrees preferred but other disciplines may be considered.
  • Exposure to process design/improvement, project management, and/or change management disciplines and experience driving/supporting change initiatives preferred.
  • Strong analysis and research skills
  • Demonstrated computer skills utilizing applicable PC applications to include Microsoft, Web, and bank related applications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate and build relationships
  • Ability to identify gaps/problems and recommend solutions for improvements
  • Drives for results and adaptable to changing needs of the business unit/company.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and commitments concurrently.
  • Able to furnish proof of citizenship, permanent residency or authorization to work in the U.S.
Location: Internship opportunities are available primarily in Tempe, AZ though there may also be roles in Jersey City, NJ, and Monterey Park, CA
