We are currently seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Branch Service Deliveryto join our team and lead multiple branches within our branch network.

An AVP of Branch Service Delivery is responsible for developing leaders through training, coaching, and mentoring. You must be committed to providing superior service to our members and have a desire to improve the lives of our members through member education and sales. The AVP is responsible for ensuring each branch is in compliance with all regulations and policies and participates in the general management of the operational processes within the retail sales delivery structure of the organization. You will serve as a representative for Service Delivery on organizational projects and are expected to build and develop relationships with peers across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Team and Self Development focusing on leadership and management through training and ongoing communications including one-on-ones, Service Delivery and branch sales meetings and observations designed to support individual and team success, achievement of goals and career progression.
  • Build and maintain a positive Credit Union image with our membership and the community. Stay informed on major community development issues that potentially impact our membership and the communities served by the Credit Union. Create and support Credit Union visibility in the community by volunteering, attending events, and participating on committees and boards.
  • Sales and Service Management to include achievement of goals in the following areas: service quality, cross selling products, financial services, productivity, efficiency, staff retention and development , analysis of branch trends (including both strengths and weakness), and suggest strategy adjustments as appropriate.
  • Branch Oversight: Directs and monitors branch operations, through subordinate managers, to ensure internal processes are aligned.
  • Development and implementation of projects for retail delivery; participation on project teams for cross functional and strategic projects.
  • Responsible for promoting a retail network that communicates and interacts well with internal support areas and initiatives.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Five to eight years of experience in retail banking management with three years of consumer lending. Preferred experience with multiple branch management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field with additional coursework or certifications in leadership and banking preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of branch operations including consumer lending, sales and service initiatives, and problem resolution.
  • Strong supervisory skills, technological aptitude, compliance, and leadership. Employee development, performance management, training, and counseling skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills, with the ability to derive innovative service strategies and implement them. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have in-depth understanding of and ability to manage multiple branches and generate both immediate and long-term results.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
