The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Properties located outside (off) Tribal reservation. This individual coordinates custodial maintenance services and activities; and coordinates repair breakdowns on all facilities under their purview. The individual manages outsourced third- party facility management service providers brought in under contract to perform custodial maintenance services and activities. The incumbent assures proper operation and maintenance of the buildings, grounds and electrical and mechanical equipment by staff and contractors in accordance with local, state, and national building codes. High school diploma or equivalent GED is required. Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Planning, Engineering, or related field is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities management performing in a supervisory and administrative capacity is required; or any equivalent combination of relevant education/training and experience will be considered. The incumbent must possess Property Management Certification and the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation or have the ability to secure within 12 months after employment. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License and be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
