Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for overseeing all aspects related to the design and construction Capital Improvement Program located at their assigned region of the Seminole Tribe of Florida Construction Management Department. The individual monitors and oversees work performed by architectural, engineering, and third party consultants ensuring compliance of STOF rules and regulations. The incumbent in this position is also responsible for the application of construction technical and management skills to varied design and construction projects. The Regional Project Manager oversees all personnel and contracted employees, equipment and materials used in design and construction projects for the region. The incumbent ensures satisfactory completion of assigned work according to project schedule. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or similarly related field is required. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction management, development of design and construction strategic initiatives including site design development, procurement, bidding and negotiation processes, contract specification, negotiation and execution or related field is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Must emonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
