Job Description

The incumbent in this managerial position is responsible for assisting the Information Technology Director in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that current information systems/server/storage/backup infrastructure supports the Seminole Tribe of Florida's business requirements and meet the needs of end users. The individual assists in the development of goals and objectives and technology roadmaps consistent with the department's strategic plan. The incumbent analyzes the needs of different IT units and STOF departments and defines overall system requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. The individual supervises the staff working under the Systems, Database and GIS areas to ensure the services provided meet the needs and expectations of the end users. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. Minimum of six (6) years of experience working in an enterprise systems, server, storage, backup and Data Center environment with at least a minimum of six (6) years of managerial experience is require. Possession of a valid FL Driver's License is required. Demonstrate Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
