The Infection/Quality/Risk Manager is responsible for developing and managing a quality program to identify risk, prevent infection and maintain a safe environment in the surgery centers. This role will lead, facilitate and advise the internal quality assurance process improvement program for the surgery centers and will have oversite of life safety, education, and credentialing. The Infection/Quality/Risk Manager reviews, analyzes and trends all occurrence reports for the surgery centers. Ensures the integration of quality management into the performance improvement process. Monitors infection control and risk management programs for the surgery center. Maintains in-depth knowledge and assists in the review and revision of policies and procedures to maintain compliance with Federal and State ASC rules and regulations. Is responsible for advising management on all potential sources of loss and making recommendations to improve patient care and reduce or minimize losses. Monitors sterilization/disinfection processes to minimize risk of infections.

Associates or better in Nursing
year: Previous ambulatory surgery experience desirable, previous risk management experience preferred. Previous supervisory/ management experience preferred
3 year: Minimum of three years’ perioperative experience.
