    REPORTS TO: Curriculum & Instruction

    SUMMARY
    The position will be responsible for working with site and central staff on developing and implementing Advanced Learning Experience programs for Tucson Unified School District. This position will provide direction and oversight of all ALE programs with planning that is aligned with District strategic goals and objectives.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    Masters degree in education, business administration or related field
    Valid Supervisor PreK-12 Certificate, Arizona Administrative Certificate, or Principal Certificate, with Structured English Immersion (SEI) endorsement
    Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance
    Five (5) years of teaching and/or experience in school site administration
    Three (3) years program management and/or supervisory experience and experience with GATE, Pre-AP, AP, IB, or Curriculum and Program Development.
    Experience developing and managing budgets.
    Experience in working with diverse constituencies/populations.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations pertaining to the funding and implementation of grants.
    Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs
    Experience in writing successful local, state and federal grants.
    Experience working with and presenting Professional Development programs
    Demonstrated successful partnership development experience.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
    Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

    Salary commensurate with experience
