Position Summary

The Associate / Assistant Athletic Director of Ticket Sales & Operations, will manage the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Ticket Office for all athletic events or partnership events, on and off campus.

Under the general supervision of the Deputy Athletic Director for External Relations, the Associate / Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Operations will oversee the long and short-term goals and objectives and strategies for season ticket sales, back office operations, assists in coordination of Athletic development and marketing functions

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and execute a multi-year ticket sales campaign, with a primary focus on Football and Men’s Basketball season tickets, mini plans, group and individual game sales

  • Contribute to Athletics External Relations strategy for revenue maximization, enhanced fan experience and strengthening of Lobo Athletics brand

  • Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; oversees recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of unit staff.

  • Oversees all facets of the daily operations of the ensuring compliance with the University, Mountain West Conference, NCAA rules and regulations, as well as state, federal laws, policies, and regulations.

  • Provides leadership in contract negotiations and marketing activities; monitors all contractual agreements between the department and outside agencies.

  • Oversees the design, development, implementation and maintenance of department resources, including forms, documents, websites, technologies and software.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
